Why I Created ELEVATE
Fitness and athletics have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always been fascinated by what the human body is capable of—how we move, how we perform, how we build strength, and how we can continually improve ourselves.
But my perspective on health and wellness changed in a much more personal way several years ago when a close family member became critically ill and began a long, difficult journey back toward health. That journey is still ongoing, and watching it unfold made me look beyond fitness alone and begin asking bigger questions about what it really means to be healthy and live well.
It led me down a path of learning—which quickly grew into a passion. I became obsessed with digging deeper into everything about nutrition, exercise, recovery, supplementation, longevity, and the growing role of technology in human health and performance – in other words, biohacking.
The more I learned, the more I realized something that seemed surprisingly obvious: Everything is connected.
How we feel affects how we move. How we recover affects how we perform. Sleep, nutrition, stress, strength, body composition, energy, hormones, metabolism, our environment, and gut health all constantly influence one another.
Yet the industry is largely fragmented. Gyms focus on training. Recovery, when available, is often offered as a niche service, or as an afterthought. Nutrition, body transformation, wellness, longevity, and emerging technologies are all found in different places.
I wanted to bring it all together.
That became the idea behind ELEVATE—a place where performance, recovery, wellness, body optimization, nutrition, longevity, science and technology work together as part of one integrated, elite biohacking experience.
Technology is a particularly important part of that vision. After personally experiencing some of the advanced fitness and recovery technologies available in Europe, I became intrigued by what was possible beyond the traditional gym and wellness model. I wanted to bring that same spirit of innovation to ELEVATE, combining next generation technologies and experiences that are uncommon in traditional fitness and wellness facilities with a more personalized approach.
That philosophy also led to the development of our ELEVATE app, designed to connect the member experience, services, progress, metrics tracking, data interpretation and personal journey in one place.
But ultimately, ELEVATE isn’t about the equipment or technology. It’s about the whole person. It’s about understanding how the pieces fit together, creating a more personalized approach, measuring progress, and continually adapting as your goals and your body change.
I created ELEVATE because I believe you shouldn’t have to piece together your health and wellness journey across a dozen different places. It should all work together.
The future of fitness is here.
